Thanks ladies... I'll have to call in. We have a little magnet that says we can use it up to five months with our deep freeze. But we only have a few bags left so I might just throw the rest out and start all formula.

In re: to the breastmilk, your LO is 4 months, right? You may want to read up on how long you can store frozen milk since it varies between 3-6 months depending on the type of deep freezer you have. I'd call the Doc though in the morning since it's hard to diagnose over the internet.

I would ask your pediatrician. Also, how old is your Lo? Your breastmilk changes as your Lo grows.. You may want to start giving your baby the newest milk first since it contains the necessary nutrients your Lo needs now.

Today I noticed a lump under my LOs left breast. I've looked around and I found that it could be just from hormones. We are using half formula half breastmilk. Wouldn't she have had the lump previously if it was from hormones, not out of the middle of no where?

* I did notice that the frozen milk we have been using was from a month after LOs birth.. could hormones have been stronger in that milk since It was right after pregnancy/birth and therefore she developed the hormonal lump?
