Yesterday my 8.5 month old ate ham/cheese sandwich at daycare, which they tore up into tiny pieces. Today she's getting meatloaf and mashed potatoes. You could also do rice with cut up shredded chicken and black beans. If she eats eggs, maybe try them scrambled?

@erinbaderin: when we eat soup I usually serve hers with a slotted spoon so she gets the food but not the broth. Thanks for the ideas!

Cream cheese sandwiches, cheese melted on toast cut into strips, teeny pastas with tomato sauce, cottage cheese, egg yolks (I used to mash them into avocado and then put them on toast), thick soups (lentil soup is good) although that might not work for BLW?

What do you feed your under 1 for lunch? We're kind of in a rut. We did BLW so almost anything is game. A lot of times she has leftovers but sometimes there aren't enough. Big sister has lunch meat almost everyday so I can't feed baby sister whatever big sister is eating. I'm thinking of maybe doing some make ahead black bean quesadillas? Im sure she's tired of peanut butter sandwiches or avocado and fruit. What do you feed your 9 to 12 month old?
