Some of the more unique places I'd recommend are:</p> <p>- Drink. One of the best cocktail bars in the country.<br /> - Legal Harborside. You probably know the Legal chain, but this new iteration with its waterside deck is so beautiful. There's no other restaurant like it.<br /> - Kelly's Roast Beef at Revere Beach. It's a chain now, but the Revere Beach location is the original. Definitely get the lobster roll and clam chowder.<br /> - Neptune Oyster. This is THE best place to get a lobster roll (I prefer the CT style over the ME style)! Beware the lines, though. </p> <p>I could go on and on! I think it's definitely worth driving the length of the Cape - the outer cape (Truro, P-town) is beautiful, and a lot less crowded. For dinner in the same town we like Chapins. Dennis has great beaches too, our favorite is Mayflower Beach. Downtown sandwich has gotten pretty cute, you can walk around and check out the grist mill and hoxie house. For RI I prefer the tiverton/little Compton area. If you're traveling with a LO, Oak Bluffs might be your best choice. DH and I are serious lobster snobs, and this place is one of the few we really really like. It's a very casual, picnic tables outside, kind of place. Also gets really busy!</p> <p>If you like cute towns to walk around, Chatham is great. Lots of cute little shops and restaurants.
