I use Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray. I originally got it for my wedding, but its the only way I could make it through a day in Southern Louisiana without my makeup dripping off everywhere. Even though we are back in the north east now, I still wear it every day because its so nice not to have to touch up my makeup!

@Adira: the same thing happens to me no matter what eyeliner I use, if I don't use eyelid primer and eyeshadow. You can just use an eyeshadow that matches your skin. Eyeliner rarely ever rubs off onto my brow bone/eyelid if I do that!

I don't know not a lot keeps me down... though I am struggle with the work situation but I still have good fun conversations with my co-workers throughout the day and with DH and friends in the evenings. :)

@Adira: I just used a drug store brand eye liner before I switched to liquid. You may consider using a neutral eye shadow on your lids to create a barrier between the primer and the pencil.

@Adira: I'm in same boat as you. I have totally tried primer and other products and nothing seems to work for me. I have just accepted that my make up will only look good for about 3 hours and account for that. :)

I think it has something to do with my eye lid. It's kind of oily but on top of that I laugh a lot and a lot of times I tear up from laughing which always ruins my make up! If only I didn't laugh so much maybe I could actually solve this issue. :)

I'd recommend a gel liner (in a pot- use an angled brush), and then smudge it for the softer line you like. Powder eyeshadow by itself doesn't usually stay put as liner, and pencils often don't have a ton of staying power either.

@Adira: I've tried a ton over the years but my favorite has always been this cheapo drugstore one: (link above - I have 'paste' issues lol) I used to get it anywhere but in the last few years I haven't been able to find it so I buy like, 10 at a time in my color (Berlin.) You have to but their sharpener, too because its a broad, flat pencil.

Urban decay primer potion, a better/real eyeliner, and Urban Decay setting spray. I only use setting spray for a long day/special occasion but when I do, I feel like it's a shame to wash my face at the end of the night because it still looks perfect!

I use a primer and i typically use waterproof pencils. I use a brown or dark purple since it's a softer look than black. You can also use a setting spray, which is super effective. I like Urban Decay's.

are you talking about your brow bone? i have shallow set eyes (1/4 korean) so my eye makeup rubs off unless i am really diligent about a good primer+good makeup+sprays for long hot days

I need some help. I use just black eyeshadow as my eyeliner because it looks softer than doing a liquid eyeliner, but my right eye lid (by the lashes) will touch... I don't even know what it's called - basically the part that's no longer indented for your eye, but below your eyebrows. Anyway, so my eyelid touches that part and the eyeliner just rubs off.

Any advice?
