I ordered some nail polish from them on Cyber Monday because Sephora didn't carry it...they apparently oversold their stock and I didn't wind up receiving my shipment (intended for the holiday party season!) until 12/23. Contrast that with Sephora, who also had fulfillment issues after the VIB 20% off sale last month, but credited me with an extra 500 points for the trouble, and overnighted my stuff at no extra cost so I had it within a week.</p> <p>Speaking of Tarte products, I can't recommend their Amazonian clay gel liner enough. I really hate the new Benefit push-up gel liner (I find it impossible to get an even thickness, and then areas where the liner is thicker flake and I wind up with black spots on my face) but it is definitely very waterproof, and the Tarte is the only pot gel liner I've found that is comparatively waterproof. I enjoy the samples, which have hooked me on a lot of products lately, and the coupons. More importantly though, they always have a ton of selection and pretty good stock of everything. I despise ulta bc other than the fact that everyone there seems miserable, they don't carry a lot of the brands that sephora does, and what they do have always has totally depleted inventory and what you need has a good chance of being out of stock. I hate ulta! I spend more at Ulta now and I think their rewards are better but you're so close it might be worth it for you. I'd also get a new Tarte blush since I love them! I just started using Josie Maran argan oil body butter and it's very nice. I like the original oil for my face. I wouldn't say it results in me buying a lot more stuff, I just wind up only shopping at Sephora instead of buying some items from Ulta or Birchbox. Skincare is my splurge, and it adds up quickly, so it's not that difficult to hit the membership threshold annually. I shop there so much. I like the extra perks of the beauty insider. You get all sort of large samples for great products. Some of my favorite products were discovered that way. They also send you coupons, which they are normally stingy with. I have a few very pricey products that I use and I always wait for those large coupons to purchase them. If I do make a purchase I'm treating myself to something as I am feeling pretty blah - I'm currently 37 wks.</p> <p>I'm thinking a tarte blush, maybe find a lip gloss, and vanilla coconut perfume? Pretty boring, any recs appreciated! </p>
