DH has low morphology (3%) but everything else looks great (count, motility, etc). I have a short LP but my RE doesn't seem to think that's an issue. We just found out about DH, so I don't know what it will mean for us - we have an RE follow up in a couple weeks.

DH has a history of low morphology (4%). We've done 2 IUIs both unsuccessful. Also, we were scheduled for two IUIs but both were cancelled due to DH's performance issues making the deposit and the other for an enlarged ovaries.

His numbers looked great for those two IUIs. I'm just not sure why it didn't take. I'm beginning to think there's a female infertility factor. :/ I'm currently on a TTC break so we will pick up with fertility treatments/ adoption process in a few months.

we are only MF - DH has an unexplained very low count, although there has been some unsubstantiated rumors that some of the vaccines he received in the military may have had some impact

this is our 1st cycle of IVF, and we bypassed IUI and other alternatives and went straight to IVF with ICSI. i'm on day 9 of stims now, so we'll see how it all goes in a few days

I know that even when I was ovulating on clomid, it still took 3 rounds to get pregnant. So, I assume that either I had other factors, or he had a little as well. Probably both, honestly.

@derevival: yes! It was a very long stressful road but worked out. I keep meaning to send a pic of LO to DH's urologist and tell him he was wrong! :)

We were told we both had issues. DH's SA came back with THREE sperm. His urologist did a testicular biopsy (poor DH) and urologist said his body was not producing sperm and he would never have a biological child (not the greatest day of his life!). I also had issues, so we knew IVF was in our cards. Our RE said if DH had one good sperm in there she could freeze it and she could use ICSI during our IVF. We found a sperm donor, ordered our vials (not cheap) and then a few weeks prior to our transfer, DH went in to give a sample and they found millions! So the day of the procedure he gave a fresh sample and we now have a healthy LO who is both biologically ours! they still don't know why his body had none at the time, but it could have been stress or trauma or something else.

We are male factor only. My DH has a low count, motility, and morphology bc of a chromosome translocation. The geneticist told us it is rare for the translocation to cause infertility, but it does happen.

We are make factor. Due to my husbands cystic fibrosis he doesn't have bad deferens. So we had to do a sperm extraction and ivf with icsi.

We were initially diagnosed with MFI, then both, then just me. The first two SAs showed 10% motility but several counts after that were in the 60-65% range.

we were both. and i don't want to share too much since i want to protect my hubs' privacy, but after our results we were told we pretty much had a zero percent chance of having a biological child.

We have both. We went through IVF with ICSI and I am currently 28 weeks pregnant. I was told that it's only 10% of couples with infertility factors on both sides - the other 10% have unexplained infertility. It makes me feel even more special haha.

We had mild male factor infertility - DH had low volume. I had a cervical issue, so we were a combo of both types too.

Anyone else in this category?

Unfortunately we have infertility on both sides of our relationship. I don't include this in my blog posts because my blog is connected with Facebook, but Mr. P had a low count, <6m at his last test. (I understand that it is just low, and not zero. We're thankful for what we do have).

His urologist told us that of the couples with IF, 40% is male only, 40% is female only, and the other 20% are the lucky ones with both.
