My Ob/Gyn in the city was a female and i loved her. Like I want to drive over an hour back to see her when I get pregnant. My RE was a male, and I was a little nervous about that, but he was also awesome, and I felt totally comfortable with him and even wished he could follow me throughout my pregnancy (but dont tell my ob/gyn that I kinda cheated on her :) )<br /> In my new town, I had a male for my pregnancy and miscarriage. He. was. awful. I didn't realize I had a preference until I selected my current doctor. My first gynecologist was my mom's and she happened to be a woman. Then, I went to a family practice and was paired up with another. We clicked so I always scheduled with her.
