DD said Dada pretty early and in always in reference to DH. She said Mama for about 3 weeks... and then started calling me by my first name. Now she says mama to mean "more" - basically because she associates me with food. Like, she KNEW it with all her being. So it actually might have hurt my husband's feelings more, because she would be all like, "papa papa!" and he'd go to pick her up and she'd make it clear she was talking about the OTHER papa.
