It's very different and has two capital letters and an accent mark. It sounds feminine and the shortened version his mother calls him is also unappealing. I loved the idea of naming a son after his father and calling him Junior. Luckily I married a guy with a great, classic American first name! He's not technically a real Junior since they don't share a middle name. I love that he will be a Junior. DH and I picked out names years ago and I suggested having a Junior. He loves the idea! Its very traditional, which I love, and the best boy name I could imagine. We joked around about picking out a name for boy #2 (since we liked having our names before being pregnant) and couldn't come up with anything that holds a candle to Junior. Hope next LO is a girl!
