Even if I didn't have a hand free, she was okay with being pet by my foot.<br /> Now, she's carved out toothbrush-time as "multi-task by petting me" time. My mom lives close and love love loves my dog so she made him first priority and would come take him on walks and to the dog park a lot so he never lacked for attention.</p> <p>Now that lo is older we're back to our old ways and are able to give the dog more attention. The first couple weeks were really hard, but once we got through that, things were much more 'normalized.' We cuddle every night after LO goes to bed and they sleep in bed with me, so that's the same :) </p> <p>Also, when LO is nursing, my doggies always sit right next to me. I love it. And I probably won't be able to snuggle with them as much either. </p> <p>I'm trying to spoil them silly in these last few weeks. But I'd also like to level set how my relationship with them will change once LO is here next month. </p>
