Lately it has been fluke times! She was reliably sleeping 7-7 but has been waking up once a night for the last few weeks, give or take a random night or two when she'll sleep straight through. I figure we are adjusting to daycare and figuring out how much to feed her/let her sleep while she is there. Trying a new regimen today to see if that helps!

My LO has been STTN since she was 8 weeks. There have been some short hiccups along the way...illness and moving to a new house but she has been pretty consistent!

Yeaaaaaah. And in fact, that did happen to me. My daughter STTN from 2-5 months, and then not reliably again until 13 months. And now at 17 months it's still only about half the time.

DS STTN most nights since he was 3.5 months old. He's 5 months now, and we've had only a few night wakings. We had two nights in a row, and I literally started crying. That was a week and a half ago, and he has slept fine since then - he didn't even have a sleep regression when we came back from a 2-day trip.

To answer your question, yes I still worry that the STTN is going to end. We didn't have a 4 month sleep regression. Hopefully I'm not jinxing myself by saying that.

I went through that for about a month after she started STTN (at 6 months) not I totally just take it for granted. Once she's down, she's down. We don't open that bedroom door until she calls for us in the morning :) Makes it easy to get babysitters for a late dinner out too :)

Oh yea, M has been regularly STTN since 7.5 months and I still expect her to wake up! For the past week she's been waking up once for some reason and last night twice.

I hope the 4 month skips you bc it was BRUTAL and will be even more so for you bc you've been spoiled!

My LO has been STTN since 4 months, he had a slight regression after we traveled for the holidays and he got sick. But he has been very consistent, so I don't worry that its a fluke.

LO started STTN (11+ hours) at 8 weeks. It's been off and on since then. I certainly hope it sticks with your LO, but I suggest managing your expectations :)

My LO has been STTN since she was 6 weeks old (at least 7 hours) now at almost 5 months she is sleeping 10-12 hours a night. WE never had a "true" 4 month regression, she had a couple times she woke up and we just put the pacifier back in and she fell back asleep.

I'm worried what happens when the teeth come in, we've always had an excellent sleeper and I don't want the teeth to ruin it!

My LO has been STTN since 2 1/2 months.... she never had a 4 month regression. There have been rare occasions where she will wake up, maybe because she's sick or something, but it's very very very rare and I'll just feed her and she'll go right back to sleep.

do you always worry that it's a fluke and that they'll be back to their night wakes?

It's been a few weeks since DS (14wks) started STTN (12 hrs) and while most nights I know he'll sleep I still have my moments before I head to bed to mentally tell myself I may have to wake up.

I think I'll feel better once we hit/pass the 4 month regression.
