He didn't tell me if there are attributes of Saint James he admires specifically (&amp; I am not Catholic, so I'm kind of new to the whole concept since I'm technically Baptist), but he said the church that he was raised going to and was Christened in was St. James church...</p> <p>Thanks everyone for all of your help! It really got me past the "manliness" and I was able to really consider it! I slept on it and decided we'll go with Harper James:). I do think it's cool, and while it's not a name I was expecting him to whip out, it means a lot to me that he came up with something totally one of a kind to him and our daughter:). His mom had suggested some names a few months back that were just okay, and I didn't really like the idea of DH picking a name MIL had suggested, bc I really wanted it to be something he came up with on his own (I don't know why, just being a Dramatic Preg). Like you said it's the middle name so people don't use it very often anyway, and I think if it's important to my husband than I would let him have it.
