The things has like, gosh, around 9 pockets total! It's not light but the space and number of pockets outweighs it all for me. I can tell you I utilize all of the pockets and hardly have trouble finding anything. It also has a paci bag that's clipped to the top of the bag that I use for my house keys since we've never used pacis before. If you sign up for their email you can get some pretty good deals on their diaper bags when they have "secret" sales. It's always patterned but I think they have some pretty nice patterns anyway.</p> <p>I was looking at the Marc Jacobs one as well and I have to say that I like this one better. More durable nylon and leather with Kate Spade versus all lightweight nylon for the Marc Jacobs. If you're looking more for weight then maybe the MJ is better b/c it is really light. </p> <p>Mine is an older style but I love it! I do use the Skip Hop ones as a throw around diaper bag often too but they are smaller and have had to replace one of them twice already b/c the d-ring for the strap kept breaking. But I carry a lot because my son goes to work with me every day and we need to haul quite a bit. He needed a lot as a newborn, so it was great then, too. But now that he's 19 months, I rarely use it. I've downsized to a much smaller bag. </p> <p>Pros for me were the size and the durability. Also the option to cross body with the long strap. Cons were the weight of those cross body straps. They are insanely heavy. I'm bad about using pockets when they're available, so the limited amount didn't bother me.
