We are definitely making progress, I'm mostly just nervous over WHEN this is going to happen. I need a crystal ball. Carseats are done, so we can at least bring him home.

Due/induction/section date:
EDD = March 17 Hopefully sooner!!

Gender:
Boy

Name(s):
Yes, finally, but it's a secret ;)

Other LOs:
Big brother just turned 2.

Current status of baby(ies):
He's head down, but posterior. My doctor said he still has plenty of time to turn, but I'm nervous since big bro had some issues with presentation.

Current status of mama:
I have a small cold, can't sleep, I'm constantly full, heartburn is miserable even with meds- I'm super duper over pregnancy. My husband is asking when I'll tell him I miss being pregnant this time around... I'm thinking never! I've been having occasional migraines, but they seem to stay away when I chug water all day like it's my job. No swelling or carpal tunnel so far, knock on wood!

Current status of the rest of your family:
We are all just so ready to meet this new guy. My husband knows I'm miserable, I'm trying not to make a big deal of it since it's only going to get worse over the next month.

Showers:
None

Things left to do:
Pack hospital bags (started making my list at least)
Finish my lesson plans for work
Finish his name letters for the nursery
Wash baby clothes
Big brother gift
Set up pack & play
Clean, clean, clean

@ScarletBegonia: YES, Cameron is my son #1- I definitely vote for it if you are team blue!!! I am still so happy with this name two years later, it would be awesome to have another one here!

Can't believe how close it's getting!

Due/induction/section date: EDD = March 5

Gender: girl (at least she better still be a girl with all the pink we've got going on!)

Name(s): None, we really need to get on this!

Other LOs: None, first time momma!

Current status of baby(ies):All is well.

Current status of mama: I can't complain too much but I am exhausted, nauseous again at least once a day most days and my back hurts more often then not. I'm just kind of over lugging this baby around!

Current status of the rest of your family: DH is super excited!

Showers: My MIL threw me a wonderful shower last month and we got lots of fun things for baby!

Things left to do: Hang up our nursery wall decor, pack hospital bags, install car seat, figure out our day care situation when I go back to work in mid June.

Due/induction/section date: EDD = March 8th by my midwife's calculations, March 5th by mine!

Gender: Team green!! Strong, strong blue vibes, though :)

Name(s): Aaron or Cameron if its a boy, Isla or April if its a girl

Other LOs: First baby!

Current status of baby(ies): At 33 wk appointment the baby was head down, measuring right on track (belly was 33cm). Everything seems pretty good, he/she is moving around quite a bit but definitely getting a bit cramped.

Current status of mama: HOT!!!!! It is humid and hot in Sydney, and I can only bear about 2/3 hours outside a day before I start to falter. I've been guzzling water like my life depends on it, and I still feel dehydrated most of the time. Generally feeling pretty good but MASSIVE. Feel like I've doubled in size since 30 weeks.

Current status of the rest of your family: My husband is getting so excited, but I've been on holidays/mat leave since early december and he still has to go in to work every day, which can be tough. I feel like I should be on top of household duties a lot more than I am, but with the heat and my size, I'm finding it hard. But really, we're both just so excited.

Showers: Just yesterday! It was AMAZING - my two besties planned a high tea at a restaurant overlooking Bondi Beach - it was just the best afternoon. I requested only books as gifts, but ended up getting books from everyone and LOTS of other stuff!! Some amazing clothes and wraps and all kinds of little toys. I was VERY overwhelmed - and every time I read through the inscriptions that people have written in the books I cry. I'm just happy I didn't read them all when I got them, it was the first time I'd put on makeup in weeks and I would have ruined it!!

Things left to do: Oh man. Too much. Still need to buy infant car seat and a chair or glider for the nursery. Probably a chest of drawers and a set of bookshelves as well - but we might wait on that. Need to mount and hang the posters and things I've got for the baby's room, wash all the clothes (as well as making sure we have enough of everything). Make a million freezer meals, and start a deep clean of the house!! Pack hospital bag. Now that I've said all that, I'll probably go into labour tomorrow.

Name(s): Ella Paige

Other LOs: 1 DD who will be 19 months in March

Current status of baby(ies): Baby is doing well, last I knew she was head down.

Current status of mama: Ugh everything hurts. I can barely breath. I'm ready to be done.

Current status of the rest of your family: Everyone is doing well!

Showers: No shower

Things left to do: Paint the nursery, put together her crib, buy finishing touches like curtains and maybe something to hang on the wall. Try and get the stains out of some of A's old clothes. Organize clothes/closet/drawers. Probably a million other things.

Due/induction/section date: EDD = March 1 - 34.5 weeks

Gender: Girl

Name(s): We are still undecided on her first name but her 2 middle names will be Elizabeth Jean (after DHs Grandma and my Mom). DS also has 2 middle names - we couldn't honor one family without honoring the other.

Other LOs: DS is 20 months

Current status of baby(ies): She is very low and in position. I had my strepB test and was checked this morning and am dilated 1cm.

Current status of mama: up 29 lbs and feeling it. I have round ligament pain, restless leg syndrome, heartburn and of course back/neck pain. I'm trying to stay positive since this will most likely be my last pregnancy but I can't help but look forward to the end.

Current status of the rest of your family: DS is kinda clueless - I wish I was better able to prepare him. DH has been great about taking DS off my hands so I can rest.

Showers: 2nd baby so no shower. We have all our gear and I have 6 big boxes of new and hand me down clothes.

Things left to do:
Paint nursery - (but she will sleep in our room for at least 6 months)
Clean out nursery closet (it was our office which has moved to the rec room)
Wash and organize clothes, blankets, towels, ect
Buy PP supplies
Pack hospital bag
Install infant seat
Stock pantry/freezer
Bring up and wash swing/bouncer/ect from basement
Get waxed
Buy DS a big brother shirt/present

Due/induction/section date: EDD = March 20

Gender: Girl

Name(s): Undecided on first name, middle name Lee (family name)

Other LOs: DD is 2.5yrs.

Current status of baby(ies): Everything is good! She's measuring in the 75th percentile so curious if she'll be bigger than our other DD.

Current status of mama: Not sleeping well anymore between peeing and my hips, etc. hurting, but otherwise I'm ok. Definitely harder this time around with running after a toddler and carrying her!

Current status of the rest of your family: Going through some major transitions with DD - big girl bed (still not sleeping through the night and made the switch around 6 wks ago!), started at a new school (she's tired and having some major meltdowns at home), etc. so we've all been exhausted. DH has been amazing at trying to handle things as best he can since I'm tired.

Showers: 2nd baby same gender, so no shower.

Things left to do: We are not prepared at all. We have the crib since we switched DD to a big girl bed and I ordered bedding. We haven't pulled out the baby clothes we have, bought anything we need, or brushed up on our birthing exercises (trying not to have epi again). Must.get.started.

Other LOs: none, except for our 3 year old mutt

Current status of baby(ies): she's very active. a little on the big side (both me and her)

Current status of mama: having lots of aches and pains. My pelvis feels like it might crack in half when I first stand up, and I've been suffering from some insomnia.

Current status of the rest of your family: DH has been wonderful about all of my projects that I want to get done before she arrives (both baby-related and non-baby-related)

Showers: Having 3! First one is next Sunday!

Things left to do: Assemble dresser and organize the nursery some more. Complete our classes at the hospital. Mentally prepare!

Due/induction/section date: EDD = March 14 OB's date/ March 17 by my date (not that it really matters!)

Gender: Boy!

Name(s): we aren't telling, but we don't even have one picked yet to be honest. We have about 5 we like, but can't really come to a decision.

Other LOs: 1 son- just turned 2 years old.

Current status of baby(ies): he's very active! At this point he's head down, but sunny side up (posterior). I am constantly getting jabbed with a knee in my belly button, but it sounds like they turn fairly often as you get closer to labor.

Current status of mama: I'm having good days and bad days, it varies. Insane amounts of heartburn, C was bald so I give the old wives tale zero merit. I'm constantly worried about my water breaking suddenly, I'll be very relieved when I get a little closer to term. I've been working towards a 5k next Saturday, but am planning on walking/slow jog most of it.

Current status of the rest of your family: C has no clue what's going on. My husband and I are pretty much in denial that it's getting so close, but we are super excited to meet him.

Showers: 2nd baby so no shower- thank goodness!

Things left to do:
Finish setting up my classes for my coworkers to take over once labor starts (I'm planning on working until he arrives)
Set up our son's new dresser
Finish rearranging the toddler room (nursery stays the same)
Sort and wash newborn clothes
Install the infant carseat
Buy gift from baby to big bro
Set up the pack and play in our room
Pack our bags
Organize and clean, clean, clean

Other LOs: N is 15 months old.

Current status of baby(ies): all is well with little E.

Current status of mama: I am defiantly a lot more sore this time. Also I am so tired this time around. I am sure most of it has to do with my iron anemia problem. I just take it easy when I can. Hard to do chasing N around.

Current status of the rest of your family: DH is being a lot more helpful this time around. I think he is seeing me struggle a lot more this time. N and DH love to play together. N still wants me for all bed time related things, but DH is taking over a lot of other routine things so the transition will be smoother I hope.

Showers: 2nd baby same gender, so no shower or sprinkle.

Things left to do: clean our room up to make room for a bassinet for E. I need to pull the newborn and 3 month clothes down from storage, purchase some diapers, pack my hospital bag, Re-install the car seat in my car.

Due/induction/section date: EDD = March 17

Gender: boy!

Name(s): We are trying to keep it secret until he arrives, but a couple people know. My mom and aunts figured it out at our family Christmas party, but luckily we weren't there and didn't have to answer. Although my mom is pretty convinced she knows it (we haven't confirmed) so she has stopped badgering us about the name. I'm a little annoyed they figured it out, but oh well, they really, really love it, so that's good news I guess!

Other LOs: No human kids, but we have a cat (Jasper, will be 4 in March) and a goldendoodle (Mack, 3.5-he's my profile pic  )

Current status of baby(ies): All is well with baby. He moves a lot and is starting to get kinda cramped. We have an ultrasound on Tuesday to check the location of our placenta. It was close to my cervix at my 20 week appointment and they want to make sure it moved. I'm excited to see if he's head down or not. I think he is, but sometimes I get conflicting movements that makes me wonder where he is.

Current status of mama: Pretty well all things considered! I was really run down on Thursday and moving was a chore. It got better yesterday, but I'm sore this morning. It felt like my belly changed a little on Thursday morning and I'm kinda wondering if he dropped down a little bit and that was causing some of my soreness/exhaustion.

Current status of the rest of your family: DH is good. He keeps telling me how he's ready to be done with pregnancy and just have LO here. I think Mack and Jasper are starting to figure out something big is changing. Mack has become much more attached to DH over the past couple months. But he has also become much more tolerant of the 14 month old I watch. He even lets him walk over and pat him on the head! He used to run away. I am really hoping for a smooth transition with them. Luckily they have dealt with me caring for a baby and 4 year old because I bring the kids I babysit over here all the time to see them.

Showers: Next weekend! I'm excited to see my good friends and family. I live out of state, so not only will we be celebrating baby, it will be a good time to catch up!

Things left to do: finish cleaning out the baby's room and put it together. We made awesome progress this week and got rid of some stuff. We bought the paint and the glider last night, so that's exciting! DH will be moving stuff and painting today. We also need to buy a lot of baby stuff, but we are obviously waiting until after our shower. I also want to deep clean our apartment which will be February projects. I think I will wait until the end of February to get our hospital bag together.

fun!

Due/induction/section date: EDD = March 19

Gender: boy!

Name(s): i shared in the gold thread!

Other LOs: just two dogs!

Current status of baby(ies): Everything is good! Next appointment is next Friday.

Current status of mama: My back is killing me :( Other than that, not too bad other than low BP making me feel crappy occasionally.

Current status of the rest of your family: DH has been great :) He has a HUGE HUGE HUGE test on March 14th for work that he cannot miss. So hoping baby stays in until then :)

Showers: Had one at the end of December when we were visiting family. Got some things we registered for, and a LOT of clothes!

Things left to do: hang pictures in the nursery, wash all the clothes, pack a bag for the hospital, learn how to care for a newborn (!), figure out what kind of things to buy that I will need for recovery! And probably lots more that I'm forgetting!

Thought I'd finally join in....even though we're almost there.

Due/induction/section date: Due date is April 3, but my c-section is scheduled for March 27.

Gender: Boy

Name(s): still up in the air, but we're leaning toward Brandon

Other LOs: 1 DS who is 3 years old

Current status of baby: all is well with baby. He is very active.

Current status of mama: Feeling very BIG, and don't have as much energy anymore, especially with a 3 year-old running around.

Current status of the rest of your family: DH and DS are doing well. I'm just worried how DS will react to a new baby arriving home. He somehow understands that there is a baby in my belly, but not sure if he knows that a real baby will be living with us in a few months.

Showers: no shower this time

Things left to do: pack hospital bag, clean newborn clothes, set up pack n play, and buy a gift from new baby to DS when he visits at the hospital.

Due/induction/section date: EDD = March 17
Gender: Girl
Name: Emily
Other LOs: DS is 14 months
Current status of baby: She's happy and active, measuring on track and head down.
Current status of mama: I feel HUGE and have 2 months to go! And the sciatica this time is horrendous, I feel it with every movement I make.
Current status of the rest of your family: Everyone is excited, LO is too young to know what's happening so I am worried about his reaction.
Showers: No shower since the kids are so close in age.
Things left to do: Super important is pack hospital bag, wash clothes and sheets for travel crib, sterilize pump parts and bottles. Later stuff: get crib, mattress, dresser for when she's ready to sleep in her room, which right now is the garage waiting to be converted. Poor second child, everything is just the bare minimum as I am running after a one year old all day. She'll be rich in love though!!

I have an impending sense of doom about all of this. Well an impending sense of it's never going to get here (due date) but I need it to stay away!!!

Due/induction/section date: EDD = March 17

Gender: Team Green still!

Name(s): P. Merlin Anderson for a boy or Z. Preslie Anderson for a girl. The P and Z do stand for real names, we just are not sharing them yet.

Other LOs: 1 DSC who is 2.5, 1 DDC who is also 2.5 and a DDC who is 1.

Current status of baby(ies): Baby is good. Baby also has very strong legs and a giant booty that just about dislocates my belly button anytime it needs a stretch. Oh and I learned baby is ROA yesterday. Hopefully it stays head down and near that position as we get further!

Current status of mama: Ready to tap out. I tripped over my own foot and caught myself so weird and seriously threw out my hip and am having such bad sciatic nerve pain. I crumple if I put any weight at all on my right leg.

Current status of the rest of your family: DH is taking all this hard lol. He has a new ailment everyday and needs some extra loving.

Showers: Shower Janurary 30th!!!

Things left to do: Everything! :( Clean the house, paint my nursery furniture, take my theory and practical test for nail school. Oh and I have a crap load of things left to make: more bibdanas, burp cloths, more cloth wipes, a baby blanket, a snuggly taggie, nursing pads and whatever else I can manage. Oh and I should pack my bag and wash all the clothes again and prep cloth diapers.

Okay ladies, we're getting to the end some thought it would be fun to do a round up!

Due/induction/section date: EDD = March 14

Gender: unknown, team green

Name(s): top secret until LO arrives

Other LOs: 1 DD who turns 2 in March

Current status of baby(ies): all is well with baby, though s/he MIGHT be breach, it's still early enough to flip him/her. I've been doing lots of inversions.

Current status of mama: so sore. My back and pelvic bones ache all the time. Chiro and massage help a ton though.

Current status of the rest of your family: DH and DD are doing great. He's been a super great help taking on more with DD.

Showers: 2nd baby so no shower this time

Things left to do: clean out the nursery that has become our junk room and sort though our newborn clothes. Pack our bags for the hospital too, though we still have lots of time left.
