At the next episode preview, it shows the couples being asked whether they want to stay married or get divorced. I'm wonder if they're even really married in the first place? The officiant said "by the power invested in me, I now pronounce you..." I thought they're required to say "by the power invested in me by the state of X..."? Though, I believe they met and were attracted to each other before they actually got married, so this show is a bit different in that they meet the day of the wedding. That's just scary and probably the appeal of the show. My parents are still married but they should have gotten divorced a long time ago. Though, I know of other arranged marriages and they very happy. </p> <p>The social aspect of it is interesting, they have 4 specialists (sexologist, spiritualist, psychologist, and sociologist.) that picked out the couples. It's like an extreme version of online dating, I guess. I didn't see the first episode where they matched the couples. The second episode is the wedding episode. All 3 couples got married. They will be going on a honeymoon then live together for 5 weeks.
