I think it should be fine! Like others have said - a little extra relaxation around O time isn't a bad idea!

@bluestriped bee: No, that's just what the spa said when I asked. This is month 5 ttc. Google is telling me massages before ovulation are okay.

I don't think it would do any harm before? I probably wouldn't do it during the TWW though.

I don't see any harm in it, relaxation is good. Worst case scenario, you O a few days late. Just use OPKs to make sure you know whats going on.

I know they're not supposed to do a standard massage in the first trimester, but ovulation time, that's a good one...I'd probably postpone.

@dc yoga bee: I have no idea. Maybe ask the masseuse? Anything to relieve stress is good in my book!

I know my accupunture stays away from certain points for my appts and concentrates on others.

I think reduction in stress is always a good thing. But I don't know. There are Fertilty massages available. Maybe ask if the masseuse knows anything about them?

Not to sound like a complete yuppie, but does anyone know or have heard whether massages are good or bad for fertility, especially around ovulation? DH got me a 90min deep tissue massage gift card, and I plan to use it this Friday, which is 2 days before ovulation. I know it's good for stress reduction and relaxation, but don't want to mess anything up!
