Consider using a probiotic in addition to your antibiotic to reduce your risk for thrush. I was already taking Ibuprofen and pain meds, because I got it about four days after my c-section (what fun! not). Definitely take some ibuprofen to help with pain and fever! My OB recommended I take the 600 mg ones I had from the hospital. I feel like crap but she just called in my antibiotics. I'm so thankful i called and we caught it early! If you had mastitis, how long before the antibiotics kicked in? </p>
