I'm a women's health PT so I see lots of preggos all day ;) The belt that we recommend is the Mother to be belt. It's nice because it provides sacroiliac support for the low back and pelvis, but also provides support for the growing belly. If you can, I would second the above advice to see a PT who specializes in women's health. Back pain during pregnancy is common, but not normal!! (Unless you are like 39 weeks and even then it should only be discomfort, not pain) Let me know if you have any other questions!

I used the Medela brand belt. It worked well for me. But then there were other pains going on that the belt couldn't help with. I'm hoping that doesn't happen to you. Toward the end my left leg was basically dead weight due to nerve issues.

have you looked into seeing a physical therapist? or even getting a prenatal massage? my OB's office has several PTs on staff and i see them whenever i have pelvic/back issues. my prenatal pilates reformer class was also tremendously helpful for me in the first and second trimesters - seriously got rid of my back pain within weeks. now i just do mat exercises at home.

there are brochures for the Prenatal Cradle in my PT's office but i never got around to trying any of their products because i didn't think the reviews online were that great. i do have a Serola sacroiliac belt that my PT gave me which I think is very well constructed.

any recommendations? there are a lot of complaints for all the belts that i was looking at. i wanted to order it today! since my back and my front are killing me. my back is better when i sleep on the recliner, but still, i think a support belt would be very helpful.
