I ordered the Old Navy maternity shorts for myself (http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?pid=975186002&vid=1&locale=en_US&kwid=1&sem=false&sdReferer=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.oldnavy.com%2Fproducts%2Fmaternity-yoga-pants.jsp) - I ride my bike to work still so I'm making one pair of pre-maternity shorts I bought at Target about 8 years ago work for now - but hopefully the ON ones will come soon. I'm not sure I can wear them all day though. I'll report back when I get them.

One of my friends swears by Danskin ones she finds at Macy's but I can't find them online - they are not maternity. They might be these? http://www.danskin.com/product/1583/1583-7-Supplex-Bike-Short.html

My actual padded bike shorts that I bought are just a size Large bike short with a v-front, so you might want to look for v-front bike shorts? Maybe something like this? http://www.amazon.com/Adult-V-Waist-Dance-Short-D5104/dp/B004BFGQU8/ref=pd_sim_a_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=1F5FXPGH1KVHW5C3BA7E

I use body glide for running but find it sticky for everyday use - the Monistat chafing cream is the best for everyday use, because it has a powder finish and you don't have to roll it on. http://www.drugstore.com/monistat-soothing-care-powder-gel/qxp139254

What about the maternity spanx at motherhood? They call them body shapers, but they really aren't that tight. I think they'd be comfortable!

I bought this: http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B002HMP874/ref=oh_details_o05_s01_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It did the trick, but it wasn't quite as comfortable as biker shorts.

@mrskc: Yup! Also on Amazon, there are a few different varieties, including a "for ladies" version, lol! :silly: I think they're all about the same. I've used it for thigh chafing, as well as during rowing, where parts of the boat would rub against my calves. It holds up pretty well against water and sweat!

@Mrs. BD: If you're interested in anti-chafe barriers, a good product to try is called Body Glide. It's meant for runners and so it is long lasting and doesn't come off with sweat.

@mrspumpkin and @mrskc: I just bought the Spanx ones. No, they don't seem very comfortable! I sized up, hoping that they will work better. I will let you both know!

I thought about cutting a pair of leggings too, but I just can't do that. They're all new! Thanks for the spray antiperspirant deodorant tip. I will try that too.

OMG I have the same problem and haven't been able to find any. There are maternity spanx but that doesn't seem very comfy. I thought about cutting some maternity leggings into shorts. For now I use the spray on antiperspirant deodorant. It helps the chaffing quite a bit.

Motherhood has one- it's called a "shaper', but I got mine on the larger size (I'm in between sizes, and rather than sizing down, I sized up), and I don't find it constricting at all.

Hi Bees!!!! I need your help! I have all these maxi dresses that I LOVE because they are so comfy and easy. However, I need some great bike shorts to wear underneath to prevent chafing. I do this when I'm not pregnant, but my regular shorts cause a line in the front of my belly. So, I need full panel maternity bike shorts, and I can't seem to find them! Any ideas!?!
