I hated maternity leggings, I think I am the only one, lol!

I had jeans from the Gap and Motherhood. They worked fine for what I needed them for.

@Rosie Girl: I live New York so it gets pretty cold. I always wore a long coat and high boots with my leggings so my legs were ok! If jeans are an option, then I also liked Gap maternity jeans.

@Andrea: I always wear leggings! Its getting really cold though, like highs in the teens, so I'm scared of getting cold in just leggings. Plus, DH hates them on me! I wear them anyways :)

I had the hardest time finding pants that fit in the legs and butt too. The smallest size was always too big! I finally had some luck with a pair of cropped, (perfect length for me cuz I'm 5'2") black pants from the gap that actually fit. I also found a pair of Forever 21 stretchy maternity jeans that fits well (maternity clothes are only available at select locations though.) :( I also got a pair of Old Navy slim fit cargo pants that fit nicely. But the problem that I have with all of these under belly, no panel pants is that they always slide down! But I hate full panel pants b/c they're so itchy. So I usually wear black yoga pants or leggings. They're the most comfy and they stay up too. :)

Do you have any consignment shops? We have a couple of maternity consignment shops that have pretty nice things, that's where I did all my shopping.

I love my Motherhood Maternity jeans, but I know what you mean about them being big in the butt. Not so much in the actual butt for me, but for the material that is directly attached to the belly part. I just wear longer shirts (I would wanna cover the belly band part anyway) and I figure once my belly is MUCH bigger I'll appreciate that extra fabric.

And I refuse to get the "fancy" (read: expensive) jeans. I just grab the cheapest ones there and try them on, lol.

I just purchased maternity jeans. Have you checked at the Gap, Old Navy, Motherhood? I don't know where you are at, but if you are in the states, shipping is usually free and so are returns. I would just opt to go that route.

How about maternity leggings? I never bought maternity pants but wore leggings the whole time.

I am having a really hard time finding maternity pants. It seems that all the places around here (ok, there is only like 2 places with VERY limited supply in my town) have no pants that fit! They are all made ... big I guess you could say. I don't need the butt and crotch bigger, just some stretch and support in the belly area! I am getting so frustrated, and don't want to spend big money on pants when I am already 6 months pregnant.

Where have you found the best maternity pants? And not expensive ones!
