I have been hang drying ALL of my maternity clothes (even $15 leggings and cheap F21 tank tops). I figure they have such a short life-span and I want to be able to use them again in the future or be able to pass them down to my sister. It DEFINITELY helps keep them looking nicer longer. The few times DH or I have accidentally tossed something in the dryer, I have seen a noticeable difference right away. It just looks faded, worn out, and cheap. So far I think I will only toss out one jersey maternity top from Target at the end of the pregnancy.

yeah, old navy stuff looks cheap really fast. You could not dry your clothes--they definitely hold up better if you don't dry them. For $15, it's what I expect, though.

I have jersey/knit products from other companies that hold up infinitely better.

Ugh, the jersey fabric drove me nuts-- not because of the pilling, but because of the way it would hugs my body parts in unflattering ways!

Yes, definitely! I love my Motherhood leggings but they have little pills that I have to shave off every couple of wears. I've had really good luck with the jersey knits from Asos though! They seem to be good quality... No pilling or rolling or anything.

I was wondering if anyone else tries to avoid these materials?

I found that since I had such a limited wardrobe and was washing clothes so often the knit/jersey materials (most of the Old Navy stuff) looks so worn so quickly! Anyone else find this happen?
