@Phillybaby2013: We are going on a cruise and after looking at maternity dresses, I picked up two on clearance from Target (total cost $20) but am also taking two dresses that I already own that are more empire cut. Most maternity dresses made me feel bad about myself, not good.

@MaisyMay: i ordered a bunch of stuff from Walmart too but the jeans were too tight in the hips. Same with 2 pairs I ordered from Motherhood. : ( Have to make some returns this weekend. The capris I have are from Kohls and i love them so I was going to try and order regular jeans that were the same style/brand. We'll see what happens! I also ordered a dress from Motherhood for a wedding next weekend and it was awful looking on. I looked like a big blob in a sack. Lol.

Yes I was the same in the early days, In the end you will look pregnant regardless of what you wear, but in the beginning the cut of maternity clothes draws attention to your belly in a way that makes it clear that you are pregnant rather than bloated

@Phillybaby2013: I ordered two pair online from walmart.com and it was a total of $41, including the shipping. I have a pair on now and I don't want to take them off even though I need to wash them and they are really wrinkly.

I'm only 17 weeks but have a little bump and i think it definitely looks bigger and more round when I wear my full panel capris. In scrubs and regular stretchy pants I think I look pregnant but it's not as defined and people could prolly say I just look really chubby. I can't wait to get more maternity pants they're so comfy!

@MamaMoose: I had to buy a specific color when I started a new job and they were only available underbelly (bought in a hurry). They're so low that if I lift my arms at work, I have to be careful not to flash the top of my undies! I've been wearing boy shorts that come a little higher, but I don't think my boss would want to know my panty color! My new pants arrived today. :)

Yes! I have one pair of shorts that is under belly and I vowed to never buy anything else that wasn't full panel. I find the underbelly to be uncomfortable and unflattering. I could see how the full panel would be bad if you are super hot, but I've been cold my whole pregnancy so that hasn't been an issue for me. And if it's really really hot out, I just throw on a sundress because even at 28 weeks my regular dresses all still fit.

I'm nearly 23 weeks, and I've realized that if I wear maternity pants with the belly panel, I really look pregnant. If I just wear the under belly pants, I just look chubby. Anybody else notice this?
