I wore a lot of LuLaRoe leggings with dresses over top. They are super stretchy and you can wear them after you are done with maternity clothes.

Other than my Blanqui leggings and support tanks, I wore my Storq dress the most. It's so comfy and totally work appropriate.

I LIVED in GapBody fitted crew neck tees layered under a regular open cardigan. That gave me an excuse to invest in some nice sweaters that weren't maternity so I can still wear them. I could mix and match but still feel covered up by the sweater.
I also really liked my Jessica Simpson maternity jeans. The BumpStart tank tops from Destination Maternity fit me throughout my entire pregnancy & somehow still fit now without looking like a maternity top. (And I've lost the baby weight!) Magic, perhaps?

My black gap maternity jeans were fine, but I wish they had been a little softer/less stiff.

Full disclosure I despised maternity clothes. I wasn't a fan of the underbelly either. I used a few basics and made everything else work.

I loved these trousers: http://us.asos.com/mamalicious/mamalicious-tailored-pant/prd/6764654?iid=6764654&clr=Black&SearchQuery=&cid=5813&pgesize=36&pge=0&totalstyles=48&gridsize=3&gridrow=7&gridcolumn=2

I also had a black pencil skirt I wore with literally everything that was somewhat similiar to the below:

http://us.asos.com/asos-maternity/asos-maternity-midi-tailored-pencil-skirt/prd/4407281?iid=4407281&clr=Black&SearchQuery=&cid=5813&pgesize=17&pge=0&totalstyles=17&gridsize=3&gridrow=6&gridcolumn=2

Other than those I had a 4-5 Old Navy pieces, 2 nice work/church dresses from A Pea in a Pod and then just wore my regular shirts until the end. I probably only bought about 10-11 maternity items. It got me through.

Can you do what you need to do while wearing a dress? You can put leggings underneath it if you need to.

@Mrs. Pen: I wore tanks with my button down shirts tied under my boobs a lot or open with a belt too
Got many compliments....

@Mrs. Pen: I know I wish I got more leggings too! And then it got too late and I didn't want to buy them to possibly never need them again. So I actually bought a few leggings from LLR since they're not maternity but the print ones stretch so much that they still fit over my 33 week belly.

@Mrs. Pen: Have you tried H&M skinny pants? I had a black pair that worked well...and actually, I can still wear them post-pregnancy when I want some torso coverage although all my other maternity pants are falling off, so maybe they'd be clingy/stretchy enough for you.

@Silva: I think it's just the way my stomach grows, I don't get why they don't work. It just looks awful on me. Maybe once I'm in my third trimester it'd be better, but I remember not liking them with my first either!

@Silva: aren't they all underbelly? I just can't do that. I try them on and they cut into my stomach and just make me look fat! and so uncomfortable.
@avivoca: so far that's what I've been doing, maternity full panel leggings with boots and a longer tunic/sweater. I basically wear the same 2-3 outfits all week haha
@MrsA: I had just ordered gap maternity jeans and was so hopeful for them. I felt the jeans had no stretch and were really restricting because of that. I'm returning them.
@snowjewelz: yeah, I'm a visiting nurse so my attire is pretty casual and I've been getting away with leggings + sweaters so far. I basically have to wash the two pairs I had multiple times a week though lol Which leggings do you wear? I'm actually surprised to say I like the ingrid and isabel for target leggings, as well as blanqi

Similar to @snowjewelz: I wear a lot of maternity tanks and tees (I love the Pure Body ones from Gap) and non-maternity cardigans. I really like my Gap over belly jeans and work pants.

I only wear full panel leggings... Fortunately my work is casual. I like wearing a basic maternity tee then I can wear my regular open front anything.

I was pregnant over the summer, but I loved jersey dresses. I never could find pants that fit well. You could wear leggings and boots with them.

I am soooo frustrated with what to wear this pregnancy. I'd live in my blanqi leggings if I could, but you know, I have a job so I can't do that.
Other than those leggings, nothing fits right and I feel like I've tried on so many maternity items and just hate how they fit. I tried on every pair of pants at target and motherhood, as well as ordered several from gap and hated them all.

I also discovered that this pregnancy I've not been a fan of really fitted items and like looser fitting tops.

So please please tell me what items you wore that you loved while pregnant. Especially pants, they're my problem area. Nothing is staying up, and under belly digs into my stomach.
My work is business casual- so I don't need dress pants- just no jeans.
