I have two pairs of under the belly skinnies from Gap and they make me CRAZY pulling them up all the time. I have 3 pairs of full panel skinnies from Motherhood. The panel can get a little warm or itchy, but I can roll it down easily. My hands down favorite pair is the Loved by Heidi Klum for Motherhood pair. They fit great!

As for tights, I got mine from Motherhood. They were cheap, but I can tell in the quality. They've got some pilling but I just didn't want to pay a fortune for a pair of tights so I kind of expected it.

I got my tights at Motherhood and they were the spanx brand. They were more expensive than their motherhood brand, but they lasted well and were VERY comfortable, even at 49 weeks. I wore them a lot due to the fact that she was born first week of May and I worked in a REALLY conservative office.

I have all Old Navy maternity bottoms... leggings, demi panel skinnies and full panel skinnies. I LOVE the full panels! So comfortable... the demi panels are fine, but they start to dig a little bit by the end of the day. No digging with the full panels.

I got some tights at motherhood maternity which were alright - nothing too special...

For jeans I love the full panel ones I got from the Gap - I got them in a flattering dark wash and they offer petite sizes for shorties like myself :)

@Foodnerd81: Rubbish! I hate that "only available online" thing. Like, the one time in my life I have no idea what size I am or what will suit me and I have to buy before I try!!!

@BelugaBean: I'm not seeing any maternity tights at Gap! I just placed an order from there yesterday too.. :(

But I am going to Motherhood this week and hopefully can pick some up. Not that the squeezed up preggy muffin top I have from my regular tights isn't cute.

@littlecasita1122: Normally I'd be fine with leggings and dresses, but since I end up wearing my rain boots or winter boots into work, then changing into flats, tights just look better.

Thanks for all the responses!

I always loved the full panel jeans the best because the demi panel pants and shorts looked so weird on me. I also agree with other that say that Gap has some pretty good maternity tights.

My jeans are full panel and I love them! My work pants are below the belly with an elastic waist and they're pretty comfy so far. I tried on full panel slacks and wasn't a fan for some reason. The slacks were from Gap if that makes a difference.

my favorite maternity tights are spanx 'marvelous mama'...although they are a bit expensive for tights (18/pair) and worked best for me starting around 20 weeks..on the plus side though, they are still great and I'm 35 weeks!

for jeans I loved my demi panel ones early on but since hitting third tri I only wear my LOFT full panel skinny ones. sometimes I fold the panel down if I get hot. its weird because when I first got them (around 18weeks) I thought about sending them back because I thought they were pretty blah compared to my others. SO glad I kept them because they are all I wear now. they are so stretchy and feel good without looking like jeggings.

I bought a pair of tights at Motherhood Maternity - I think they were less than $10? Decent quality though I only remember wearing them a few times. I preferred doing dresses with leggings and boots in the winter. For jeans, I only preferred full belly panels, though all my jeans were boot-cut.

I got my maternity tights through GAP (these were nicer quality) and through a Destination Maternity store in the mall (these were kind of crappy).
My jeans were full panel, and I liked that, but then my work pants were below the belly black slacks, and I liked those too. I think it kind of depends on the pants, and there are pros and cons to each. Sometimes the full panel could feel itchy or irritating, but I liked the fact that I didn't have to worry about flashing skin at anyone since I had the panel, especially when I got REALLY big and shirts didn't cover my underbelly the way they used to. Full panels are also a little warmer, so kind of nice in winter but maybe less nice in summer.

First-- where can I buy maternity tights? My regular, non control top, tights fit in the morning, but by after lunch, I'm rolling them down below my belly in a most unattractive and uncomfortable way. I'm 16 weeks, starting to show but not a ton, and I plan to be wearing tights into April, probably. I have seen maternity leggings, which I just ordered, but would like a pair or two of tights that aren't crazy expensive.

Also, I'm going shopping this week for another pair of maternity jeans. I plan to wear the jeans from now until the beginning of the 3rd trimester, probably-- once summer hits, I'm sure I'll be too hot and not in the mood for jeans. Do you prefer full panel, demi (half) panel, or below the belly, especially for skinny jeans? I have one pair of demi panel ones that I love now, for my little bump, but I do expect they may not be as comfortable once I get really big. Since i wear them 4 times a week right now, I'm still getting my money's worth! I also anticipate they will be good for post partum, but I need one more pair for now.
