@shopaholic, that was my plan exactly! I'm going to TJMaxx and Marshalls it up pretty soon for bigger bottoms. The ones by me always have a TON of fitness clothes, especially before the holidays.

@SCG, that's mighty impressive!!! And yeah, Target is cheap! I currently have some Target capris and my ONLY issue with them is that since they're a black cotton, when I sweat, I end up looking like I peed my pants in them. They do NOTHING for me as far as sweat wicking goes. I sweat a lot.

Don't discount the power of stretchy non-maternity clothes too. I wouldn't say I'm working out but when I walk the dog my Target cheapies with a yoga waistband still fit! These were from pre-pregnancy in my normal size. It's kind of nice because it adds a layer of support. I have no illusions; I'll have to pitch them once I'm not pregnant and they're all stretched out but.. dirt cheap!

oops sorry it is side ways..

@blackbird: Yay! Their swiftly tops are so nice and cool too! For bigger bottoms for crossfit, try maybe TJMaxx or Marshalls? I know my sister got a bunch of her CF stuff there b/c she said they get thrashed.

I have been wearing Target and Old Navy tanks too. I'm not sure they're specifically workout wear, but they're cotton and cheap, so they fit my requirements. I found mine in-store, but if you check Target's website, they have a TON more maternity clothes there, so perhaps that will help too?

Thanks for the suggestions!!!!

The racerback wasn't flattering on me (and it's winter) so I went with the Run Swiftly shirt and tank and they are awesome!!!!! I got pale lime green and baby pink. And I did size up but a baggy shirt is still nice when it's hot out!

She recommended the pants, too, but I don't like pants for Crossfit because they get caught in the rowing machines and on the bikes. And if I size up in pants, they probably will be too big later.

I second @Sammyfab: on Lululemon Cool Racerback (Tanks). I bought one a size up when I knew I was pregnant. I haven't tried my normal size recently, but I think they still fit. I just like a little more comfort. I also agree, I have quite a few Lululemon tanks and tops which are longer and their material has a really nice, supportive stretch to the. Pricey, but you can still wear them PP too!

The good thing about LL tanks is that they are long so you can get away with them for a while....I was wearing my regular size tanks probably until I was almost 7 months, before switching to my husband's big Hanes tshirts bc they were so comfy.

I always heard that Groove and Astro pants were a lot more forgiving because of the front scoop in the waistline, so they were good for pregnancy. I only had Wonder Unders and they made it to about 6 months before I gave up on them because they were too tight under my belly, and I just stuck to some really stretch Bebe sport crops the rest of the time. I didn't buy any new pants so I can't help there.

I did get a pair of "Groove Pants- Slim" the other day from LL, and even though I bought them for postpartum, I could wear them now because they go under the belly. The girl said they are a brand new style and run a little bigger (no idea why they're called "slim"), so I was able to stick to my pre-preg size and they are definitely a lot more comfy and forgiving than my wonder unders! I could wear them now but I'm trying to keep maternity and post-partum stuff separate! I want to feel like I'm making strides back to my old self after I deliver.

Oh and the Groove Pants-Slim come in Tall and are reversible, so even though those suckers are $100, it's TECHNICALLY like getting 2 pairs for $50 each. Right??? Lol;)

I was/am seriously frustrated with this. Old Navy Maternity has some, but they are always sold out. I was so excited when I found "For Two Fitness", but to be honest, the shirts are all cotton blends so not ideal for working out. My favorite is an XL normal workout shirt I got at Nordstrom.

I guess I am cheap. I can't imagine spending $50+ on a shirt to work out in. I would need 4 or 5 just for the week. I would rather buy something cheap for the gym and have more money for work and everyday maternity clothes.

@hergreenapples: that's what it says on the website :(. I highly recommend the cool racerback though and that goes all the way to size 12! A lot of people size down with that tank too. This is however, coming from a short, non-pregnant crossfitter. :-p

I have lots of Target work out tops, but they run small and the problem is that I'm already at the high end of sizing. I usually wear an XL and I'm stuffing myself into XL's and XXL's at this point. When i do pull ups, they slide up on my belly so it's not pretty. They just aren't long enough. I guess I could go into the plus size department?

Our Target didn't have anything last I checked. I like lululemon, too, and all my shorts from them fit, but I'd be concerned I'd buy this super cute ($$) top and it'd fit for a month :P

We have a Dick's Sporting Goods I'm going to try out...i have a gift card, at least...I just hate to have to try on 50 things to get one shirt that fits!

So glad you posted this, as I was going to ask the same question. The crops I wear to the gym still fit because they're stretchy enough, but my tops are definitely becoming an issue...they are WAY too tight. I'm also not a fan of cotton. Until now I've always worn lululemon and Target workout tops.

I was wondering about this as well. I am fine with cotton shirts. I hate tight shirts at the gym. I was thinking about going and buying plain white men's tshirts and seeing how those would work for a while. My pants I can still wear just wear them down lower under the belly.

I did buy yoga pants from old navy and I really like those.

What do you wear to work out? It's too cold for shorts now, even though those still fit, but my main issue are the tops! Even my XXL work out tanks are getting too short for me! And I am busting out of them. I thought if I bought a size or two up, they'd fit throughout my pregnancy. I dislike cotton, so I don't wear regular t-shirts if I can help it. They get excessively sweaty at the gym.

I know GapFit has a line. Is there anything else out there I'm missing?
