We freaked out, pulled her out, cleaned the bathtub, re-filled with water, put her back in. She hasn't pooped in the bath since that one incident. </p> <p>She'll occasionally pee in the bath.. when she does, we just drain the water and refill. When LO was 2 days old, we put her in her tub and she shat in the water and nearly stuck her poo-hands in her mouth! Since then we sponge-bathed her...Up until last week when we felt she needed a good washing. So in the evening when we're ready to bathe her, I'll wait until she has a wet/dirty diaper, and then stick her in her tub. So far, I've been lucky. When I prep Mavi to take a shower, meaning strip him down to his birthday suit, he automatically crouches and pees on the bath mat. EVERYTIME.</p> <p>So if I hurry to give him to the hubs but he pulls a fit. HE WANTS TO PEE! It's hilarious. (well not so much for the bath mat) so I'm thinking we need a potty to teach him to pee in the potty but don't know if there are some better than others.</p> <p>Any tips on teaching him peeing on the mat is not a good thing? I try telling him to pee in the shower ... but he doesn't understand. </p>
