Pedi at 15 month chck told us that average for that age was 12-16 oz... he was taking 30!</p> <p>At 18.5 months we've scaled back to 16-18 oz. She then asked if he eats meat and I said yes. Then asked what kind and I said everything. So she wasn't as concerned. I know that isn't the best answer but that is what I heard. He used to only have maybe 1-2 sips, and now drinks two or more big cups a day. I didn't ask the pedi about it at his 18 month appt, because this change has really only happened in the last few weeks, but is there a max amount of milk that a toddler should be drinking? I don't want it to interfere with his food consumption (I try not to give milk during meals but he asks for it a lot). </p>
