In fact, most of the time in my dreams I'm not even pregnant, but then halfway through it's like my brain remembers I am pregnant and all of a sudden I have a HUGE stomach. That part is probably actually prophetic... </p> <p>@Mae: That is such a weird dream! Long before I was actually pregnant, I used to have sporadic dreams where I'd give birth to a mouse or a puppy or a tiny little pony. We pick a new one every week based on what my app says the size is. Last week was Avocado so we called him/her Avi. This week it said Turnip so the name is Ted the Turnip. </p> <p>Weirdly Avi kind of grew on my husband and wants to consider it for a real name now! I don't know though. I like it but I feel like it is a name strongly associated with the Jewish community and it would be weird to name our kid that. Well, her daughter is about 10 now and practically identical!<br /> I really haven't had any dreams about this baby. I didn't have many about DS either but I do remember one and he was an older baby, walking around in just a diaper. I couldn't tell if he was a boy or a girl but he was definitely really blonde just like he actually is!<br /> With DS pretty much everyone thought he was a boy even though we didn't know. We called him "he" and his in utero nickname was Hamish. Like, the child was clearly half black (both my hub and I are white) and he was there, as were our families, and none of us seemed to think that was surprising lol. Also the baby was so tiny I could put it in my pocket. Which also was not surprising or concerning to us. Gender wasn't really a big part of the dream so I'm not certain but I feel like the baby in the dream was a boy. My friend said her doc told her 80% of dreams about gender are correct.
