My DH does the same thing. I'm convinced that it runs in his family. It seems to be a common trait among my inlaws. </p> <p>For the hamper talk, I labeled DH's hamper with his name and keep it in the closet. When I do laundry, I load his stuff into mine. His hamper stays in the closet, so he has somewhere to put his clothes. It's weird, but it works. </p> <p>Chorewars.com helped us keep the sink clean and dishwasher full. I should be glad he gets half of the stuff more or less into the right places, but it's annoying that in order to do anything in the kitchen, I have to clean up after his attempt to clean up...</p> <p>Laundry is another one. In DH's world, clean laundry belongs in a basket until I'm around to "help" with the folding and putting away. Because he might fold something wrong, and anyway the three minutes saved by having us both do it are super important to his day or something.</p> <p>He is good at turning off lights, though.
