I recently noticed that my sick kids eat more (even if it is just 4-6 more bites) if they are sitting on my lap. I feed them from my plate and it gets a little more into them.
When they are sick, we definately see them eat more goldfish crackers and I have no shame in serving them ice cream for dinner on really bad days.

Whatever she wants, and I expect her to not eat more than a bite or two. But once she feels better, she'll start scarfing the food down.

He usually wants more carbs when he's sick - his favorite thing for breakfast is a bagel thin with cream cheese. He also will eat plain ravioli's or tortellini's, Kashi cereal bars, puffs, apples. If his stomach is upset, we stay away from dairy for a few days.

Whatever she wants. I offer her things I normally like while sick (fruit and carbs) and then just keep offering different things. When she is sick, I don't care what she eats, I just want her to be happy. So, for breakfast today she had my nutri-grain bar, a pouch (normally reserved for outings) and an orange.

What do you feed your LO when they're sick? LO (13.5 months) came down with croup after a 7 days at daycare, and she won't eat anything! She'll have half a yogurt, a few sips of milk, a couple of cheerios, a couple of noodles, half a pouch, 1 blueberry, etc. (not all in the same meal).

I tried a blueberry banana smoothie at lunch today thinking that might be a good way to get some food in her, but she just took her usual 1-2 oz of liquid! She had a couple of bites of my lasagna, but ate barely anything.

Help!
