Two weeks is a long time to wait, especially as they're not planning to do another u/s!</p> <p>I was consistently measuring 7-9 days behind in early pregnancy. I had already had 3 miscarriages. My OB was very sympathetic and I had multiple u/s in the beginning. Eventually, LO caught up and he's a healthy 10 month old now! He was also really reassuring that it's not uncommon to measure a week or so off...who knows how accurate they really are at guessing, plus everyone is different. At my first ultrasound there was no heartbeat and I was measuring a few weeks behind. The doctor was very dry, business as usual, and didn't do much to answer questions or ease our concerns. She told me to follow up in 15 days with an U/S.</p> <p>I knew something wasn't right so I made an appointment with another doctor in the same practice (I talked to the on call nurse about what I thought was wrong and they scheduled me with someone the next day). The doctor and nurse both were positive I was miscarrying, even though I reiterated my cycles haven't ever been regular. We got another u/s to check dating three weeks later, but they tested my hcg levels between the two for reassurance that I was actually pregnant and professing as needed.</p> <p>Two months waiting definitely sounds unusual, I would push for another or as you said, find another doctor. Pretty scary, but without me even asking they rolled in the ultrasound machine and baby looked fine and they got a HB that way. Maybe you can just request that they do that at your next appointment just so you have peace of mind?
