The contractions were doable as long as I remembered to breathe- and held my husband's hand! Shortly after that, things got much harder and it took 7 hours for me to go from 6.5 to complete. 8 minutes of pushing and my 7 lb. 9 oz. son was born.<br /> 25 hours with #2: 21 hours of easy labor, gradually intensifying to strong contractions, but very manageable in between due to my water not having broken yet. Not sure when my water broke since I was in the shower, but I'm guessing around 5 cm., about 2 hours before she was born. The last 2 hours were tough, particularly the last 20 minutes, when I went from 6 cm. to pushing my daughter out. It took several hours to get "bad" contractions and then I dilated from 3-10 cm in about 2 hours. I ended up pushing for around 4 hours.
