I recently just used the Ameda b/c I was sick of bringing the PISA to/from work. I don't know if it's a fluke or if I'm crazy... The Ameda seem to get out the same output in half the time of the PISA.</p> <p>I'm gonna switch to using the Ameda next week exclusively just to see what the difference is! I have to say tho the Ameda wasn't very comfortable... I also used both a hospital grade Ameda and Medela when my daughter was born which gave me a little bit of a feel for the Medela system. I like the little white valves on the Ameda better than the white flaps on the Medela as the flaps seem hard to clean without tearing. I got an ameda though insurance and could never get very much. I got a medela as a hand-me-down and used it for 10 months of pumping at work. I actually ended up buying another medela PIS because I liked it so much. The quality of my older Ameda was much better than the one I got from insurance. The newer one actually quit working well after eight months of use and I switched to using my older one exclusively. I will be on leave for the first 6 months and then returning to work (and hopefully continuing to pump at work until a year). I've watched a few comparison videos and am totally lost! </p>
