Another freestyle lover here. It's great for when you go on vacations. Such a small profile and you can pack it into another bag without lugging another bag just for your pump!

Sorry I didn't see this earlier. I also have a Freestyle and LOVE that you're not tied to a power plug!

I have the freestyle and the genric medela dbl which is identical to the pisa

I love the portability if the fs esp on mat leave but the power of the pisa like one was amazing. Left n used that for pumping at work

I love my freestyle. I had to pay an extra $100 for it and it's so worth it. Even though most of the time I pump at work with easy access to an outlet, the times I pump at home or in the car, I'm really thankful for how light and portable it is, and that's battery powered.

Freestyle. I also EP and own a PISA (tota bag) and a Freestyle and I haven't used the PISA since the first month. The freestyle is portable so if I need to stand up to get a drink of water, or make myself some coffee, or put on makeup I can move around---I also pump in the car coming home from work.

Freestyle! I pumped exclusively and the Freestyle was able to draw out more milk than the Medela Lactina (hospital grade pump). I loved how light and portable the Freestyle was. A tip about pumping bras--I bought a bandeau styled bra one size too small, cut holes where the flanges go through and used that instead. I found it worked better than a nursing bra because it was less bulky.

I loved (but hated) my PISA. I haven't used the freestyle but I pumped 3 times a day for almost a year and it never failed me. For a hands-free bra I would recommend the simple wishes one! That's great you have so many choices from your insurance!

hi ladies -

I have a few choices for pumps from my insurance company and am trying to make a decision. As a FTM, I'm completely overwhelmed and clueless! I've read a bunch of the existing pumping boards, but would love responses from people in a similar situation to me, or (even better) from people who have used both of the pumps in question and can compare them.

4 Choices:
Pump In Style Advanced– shoulder bag/tote
PISA – backpack
PISA – metro
Freestyle

My situation:
I will be going back to work full time after 12 weeks, so I will need to pump from the office. I commute via my car, and rarely travel for work. Regardless of which model I pick, I hope to use a pumping bra, so that I can continue to use my computer while I pump.

I realize I am probably over thinking this, and either will be fine...but I'm a FTM, so lets be honest, I'm over thinking just about everything these days! Happy to take any other pumping tips/tricks from WOHM. Thank you in advance!
