I had a UTI and had to take medicine for it, which wasn't really a big deal, but I was very much in the NO MEDICATION camp, so I wasn't very happy about it.

I know Geek In Heels had to have an emergency appendectomy while pregnant with her latest, who was born healthy yesterday.

Has anyone had medical procedures, not related to your pregnancy, while pregnant? I have to get a root canal and a crown in the next couple of months and am not very happy about it. The dentist has been great about getting approval for antibiotics and pain pills from my OB, but I'm still super nervous. I haven't even taken a Tylenol since getting pregnant, I can't believe I'm going to have to have these painful procedures done now. :(

Has anyone else had to have anything done while pregnant and taken medicine and the baby has come out OK?
