@pwnstar: I finshed my last pillpack even though we'd decided to start trying so I wouldn't have any wonky cycles, and I had my regularly scheduled withdrawal bleed right on schedule. This bleed started spotting on day 22, definitely a period on day 23. Before BC back before we had our daughter my cycles were usually between 25-29 days long, so this is definitely early.

@Mrs. D: How long after you stopped your BC did you get get your period? It sounds like a withdrawal bleed, which for TTC, you should treat as CD1 (the first full day of your period).

Since weaning from breastfeeding I don't get menstrual cramps anymore. I get killer ovulation pains some cycles though. After coming off the pill I definitely had AF cramps though...

Do you always get menstrual cramps?

I ask because I haven't had them for the last 3.5 years while on the pill (yay pill!), but they haven't returned this month now that I'm off the pill and actively TTC.
I'm pretty sure I used to get them every single month, but I haven't had them yet this month, and I'm on the 3rd day of my early period. I actually thought it was just IB the first two days since it was early and I had no cramps. Or maybe it's because this is the first month off the pill? Maybe I should just be grateful there's no cramps this month and move on lol.
