Awesome so glad to hear! I was thinking it’s too good to be true that my first 2 cycles I’ve only leaked a tiny bit on my super heavy day when it was full. I’m using the Saalt Soft and can’t believe how much more comfortable it is than tampons. It makes my period feel so much shorter since I only deal with it in the morning and at night.

@Kemma: Period underwear is good idea, maybe I’ll get a pair or two for my heavy days. Thanks!

I’ve been using a cup for about 18 months and really only had one daytime leak when I should’ve emptied my cup and didn’t! I do wear a pad overnight on the first 2-3 days of my cycle but mainly because my cup gets full and leaks if I sleep more than 7-8 hours.

You could try using period underwear or a reusable liner / pad as a backup for your heavy days but if your cup fits well and you’re emptying it regularly then you should be fine!

I still get a little spotting with my cup, so I wear a pantyliner. Still LOVE using a cup, though! Which one is everyone using? I've tried the Saalt and the Lena.

Pre-baby, I didn't need to wear anything with it. Now, post-baby, I have a couple VERY heavy flow days. On those days I wear a pantiliner with it during the day, and a thin pad with it overnight. I never have leaks, it just sometimes over flows because my period can get so heavy.

On my heavy days I wear a panty liner, sometimes a pad if it’s been a few months (PCOS, super irregular). As long as I don’t wait too long to empty it I usually don’t have leaks.

I previously wore an extra pad on my heavy days. I recently restarted BC bc my period was just unreasonably heavy and now no longer wear a pad. It was predictable when I’d leak.

I’m on cycle 2 with my first cup and am sooo in love. I’m kicking myself that I didn’t try this sooner! One question I have though for those of you that use them - are you wearing a panty liner or pad too just in case? I’m trying to figure out what would work best, but worried about leaks eventually. Once you’ve gotten the hang of it does it ever just randomly leak a flood or would it just be minor spotting if you’re close to filling it up?
