I halfway agree. The first time around I was unemployed and the first four months were so unbearable. This time around, I had MS for the first four months again, but it was very bearable. This time around I'm working almost full time and have a toddler to take care of. So I think distractions definitely help!!

I had this to I think! On the days I knew I had a lot of meetings at work or a day I really wasn't looking forward too, I felt like the getting sick would kick it into high gear! On days I was looking forward too, my nausea was the only thing I was affected by, not actually getting sick. I decided to say it was just in my head and tried to fight through it. If I got to work and still was getting sick I would leave after an hour or two.

I notice I have it more during the week too and I wonder if its because I get more sleep on the weekends? I slept 12 (glorious) hours on Friday night and felt fantastic all day Saturday. We got home late, and I only got about 8 hours and I felt exhausted and nauseous on Sunday. That was the first time I thought hmmm, maybe this has to do with rest and sleep. It's not really feasible for me to sleep 12 hours every night though.

@artbee: That could be it too! I got so much yummy fresh air this weekend and was outside pretty much the whole time from Friday afternoon-Sunday afternoon.

My job is indoor, all day. No windows.

I always feel worse on the weekend. I think when I have something to do (whether it's work or something fun) it distracts me from feeling so bad. But when I'm just home laying low and relaxing I tend to feel worst. I had a post last night that yesterday I actually tried to take a break from by Unisom/B6 combo to see if the morning sickness has gone away on it's own yet and I ended up puking for the first time during my whole pregnancy. NOT FUN!

I was really worried when M/S kicked in the week before a girls wknd in Chicago with my best friends. Lo and behold, fri/sat I was feeling AMAZING and eating just like normal.

Then come Sunday, M/S was back! It was like that for several wkday/wknd combos... M/S being horrible during the wk and at least bearable during the wknd!

I've noticed that whenever I have something planned for the day that I'm absolutely not looking forward to (you know, like going to work), my morning sickness is out of control. Extreme nausea, fatigue, etc.

However, whenever I have something fun planned, I feel perfectly fine. Lots of energy, zero nausea.

I thought i was in the clear of horrible morning sickness after an absolutely wonderful, outdoors-ey, active, family-tastic weekend. But today? I feel terrible. Ugh.

I know morning sickness can come and go, but this is like clock work! If it's all in my head maybe I should try some more meditation/mental work to have a better attitude on days where I have to be a normal adult and do things I don't want to do.
