We like to do a make your own salad bar where we put out lots of small bowls of salad toppings, prep a big bowl of lettuce and buy lots of dressings and tasty bits. We usually prep one meat like chicken and have some chickpeas and two cheeses like goat and feta, one nut, one dried fruit, bacon bits, cukes, tomatoes, avocado, cherry tomatoes, shredded carrots, and croutons or crunchy chow mein noodles. A seasonal fruit is nice too like fresh strawberries or apples. It's always a big hit for dinner parties. The babies are little enough that they still bring their own food. We have two picky eaters and one peanut/legume allergy. Last time I ordered pizza but I was hoping for a less expensive option than takeout. </p>
