It was LIFE-CHANGING when I got mine (I was pregnant and nesting lol). I had a TON of stuff in that little area... like a bunch of junk. DH loves it now because it's so clear. We agreed to only put oil there. I use to have all my spices there too... but we cleared the bottom of the cabinet above the oil and I have my spices there. It really feel more open and clean now. It's actually working out well for us. Hopefully we can keep it up! Thanks! Before mounting to the cabinet, I ran into issues with having to clear space before opening the door to use the microwave. It is just about 3 inches on each side. So I lucked out there. Good suggestion though! :)</p> <p>I just noticed the picture doesn't show it with 3 inches on each side. But it should have 3 inches on each side and I did measure it. Just so happens I didn't put in the exact correct position when I snapped the picture. I just can't decide where to put the microwave. We use to have an over the range microwave but there was major drama with that.</p> <p>Just got the on the counter one... And I can't decide where to put it. I was just about to plug it in... when I decided to text all my friends and it was a 50/50 split.</p> <p>So I don't want to plug it in yet .. So I think I just wait for DH to come home. I really can't cook since our floor is covers with all the stuff that use to be on our counters so I can rearrange it when we figure out where the microwave will live.
