It makes sense that on day 48 of a 64 day cycle it would have been ovulation spotting! If that's what it is on day 21, yay for shorter cycles!! I haven't experienced it so I can't say for sure, but I don't think it's a problem.

I would get ovulation spotting every now and then, though it didn't mean those were the only cycles I ovulated. It certainly didn't affect my ability to get pregnant or stay pregnant! :)

I had this as well once we started trying. Honestly... I think it came from the fact that in the middle of my cycle we were just having a lot of sex. I got pregnant on the first try both times... I miscarried once and am now almost 15 weeks with a so far sticky baby. I highly doubt the midcycle spotting was linked to my miscarriage since I had the same thing happen when we tried for this pregnancy.

Has anyone experienced light spotting mid cycle or during ovulation and know what it means?

My first cycle off BC after taking it for 15 years was 64 days and on day 48 I had light brownish/pink spotting that lasted only for a day. I'm having the same thing now on day 21 of my second cycle.

I googled it and still can't figure out if it's a good or bad thing. I will see my doctor soon, but I thought I'd throw it out here first. Does anyone know what this means? Is it harder to get pregnant or am I more likely to miscarry? Or is it a sign that I'm fertile?
