I don't think you have to necessarily be consistent - that being said, I love Reese Adeline! It has a similar cadence to Quinn Evelyn, too, which is nice.

I don't see why it matters that your husband wasn't close to your grandmother, unless you also weren't close to her and/or neither of you like the name (did you leave out an "I" there? Are you saying that you weren't close to yours? If that's the case, I don't think it matters if you like the name but I don't think you're required to name your second child after a grandmother just because you did the first time).

What about another beloved family member or family friend?

I don't think both middles need to be family names if they speak to you.

So, although I'm only 12 1/2 weeks pregnant, we are already pretty sure we have chosen a name for our second daughter. Reese! Our 2 1/2 year old daughter's name is Quinn Evelyn. Evelyn was the name of DH's beloved grandma. We are considering using my grandma's name, Adeline, for the middle name. However, DH was VERY close to his grandma and really wasn't that close to mine. Does it matter?

Anyway... what are your suggestions for middle names for Reese?

Our last name ends in 'ley', so nothing that ends that way.

THANK YOU!
