He is 16 weeks. For back-to-belly, she gets well onto her side but her arm gets stuck or she feels it's too much effort so she quits. SIGH. My LO started flipping from belly to back at around 3.5 months and then back to belly shortly after. He gets 3/4 of the way and chickens out, basically. But he's never been a huge fan of rolling. I believe the AAP says this should occur between 4 and 7 months. </p> <p>Our little one could lift her head really high when on her tummy from the beginning so she rolls/flops from belly to back since the first week she was home. </p> <p>She is now (4 months) trying to roll from back to belly. She will get all the way over on her side but her arm gets stuck underneath her so she rolls back to her back. Any suggestions to help her besides pulling her arm out from under her? </p>
