He is pretty fast at doing it, he does it on our carpet and tile floors. I can't remember exact time! But was pulling up to stand soon after and cruising from 10mo. Proper crawled at 12mo and started walking at 16 months, now at 22mo practically running everywhere. I realized it depended on the surface. It's pretty efficient to slide across our slick wood floors, but not so much on her daycare's carpet! She walked at 13.5 months but was cruising the furniture for a couple months before that. Now at 2 y/o she loves to crawl around on all fours and pretend she's s little baby. L is almost 10 months and just does a military crawl, although sometimes she gets up on her knees but doesn't go anywhere.
