Charlie used to spit up/vomit milk CONSTANTLY! Finally we switched him from cow milk to soy milk, and it stopped completely. He's on help milk now, and has never had a problem like that since switching over!

Maddy has done fine with whole milk since we made the switch 2 months ago. She has had a cold for the past 2 weeks, seemed to be getting over it over the weekend and now the cough is back full force. Last night I gave her a sippy of milk at around 1:30am, by 2am she had thrown it all up. I didn't give her the normal morning sippy, but I did give her one before her nap, again a coughing fit led to it coming back up. This is not fun! She ate her normal breakfast just fine, it's just the milk that is causing a problem. My Mom thinks it has to do with the fact that milk can cause phlegm and when you add in a bad cough and a baby's short digestive tract this is what you get. I can't wait to be out of cold season. I'm thinking of buying some pedialyte and not giving her milk until the cough gets better.
