@lydg: They are definitely pricey, so I by the 20 pack off Amazon. It's a little bit cheaper per strip.

I usually test right before I'm going to feed her. It takes 2 min to get the results back so if she's already screaming her head off, then I'll just give her a bottle and then test and pump afterwards.

@sorrycharlie I was flipping out about it! I didn't nurse for the 4 hours I was taking it (obviously) and the 2 before that since I'd last fed him and I was DYING! I practically skimmed the last 40 questions!!

@babyboecksmom no that doesn't sound bad at all! I think they might have them at BRU and I might go pick some up. I first saw them on an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians and it was hilarious! Do you use them as soon as you get home and are about to nurse? I guess I would have to figure out how early is too early to use them.

@mediagirl they seem pricey but worth it to me!

I had never heard of this before. I don't drink often but it may come in handy if we want to go out and celebrate something...

@lydg: I used them all the time! (sounds bad to say that... ) They were very helpful when I was trying to figure out if it was safe to nurse DD or not after we had our date nights.

But remember, you don't need to pump and dump unless you're doing it to relieve the pressure. Once the alcohol is out of your system, it's out of your milk. So if you can hold on a few hours until it's out, then you should be able to pump and save the milk.

Has anyone ever used these?

I passed a HUGE test and DH/friends and I want to go celebrate. I'm not opposed to pumping and dumping right now because I have a huge oversupply...I've already dumped 8-10 oz in the past few days only because I left the bottle in the fridge too long before I gave it to him. Whoops...
