Also consider how frequently you will have to wash the sheets -- cotton sheets, in general, wash well and maintain their shape and softness. There are also many different qualities and types (Turkish, Egyptian, cotton-Jersey, cotton blends, organic cotton, ... ) which boast varying levels of softness, warmth, and stretch, as well as, the promise of being hypoallergenic. It's about a 30 dollar difference, so I am not sure if it's really worth it. I basically have zero experience with minky. </p>
