I've been spotting for almost 3 months but I would say it is worse when I am exerting myself (like after a hard run or a long day on my feet all day chasing kids). I'm so sick of the spotting and getting closer to just having my OB take it out!

@Foodnerd81: I had it removed when we decided to start TTC. I think I got it put in March 2012 after DD1 and had it removed the summer of 2013. I loved not having it anymore. The nonstop spotting stopped and I just had a normal cycle

@sandy: what did you end up doing? It's certainly less annoying than an unintended pregnancy but it is annoying. Mine really does seem to be related to extra stressful days.

Or all my days are stressful?

I don't know about stress related spotting but I basically spotted nonstop when I had the Mirena IUD. Like I'd have a week or two of no spotting then spotting for a week over and over. I hated it. But I think my body just wasn't compatible with it

Has anyone noticed increased spotting during times of extra stress and over tiredness, with Mirena? I spotted for a good 4 months after it was inserted, but now it's mostly stopped except when I'm extra stressed (like both my kids and I are all sick and no one is sleeping). It's super annoying- hey not only are you have a totally crappy day, you ruined another pair of underwear!

Anyone else??
