I also didnt feel comfortable with anyone aside from dh or I driving w LO Until well past his first bday. But that may just be me being neurotic. We took our lo to the small zoo on his 1st birthday and he loved it! It would have made me really sad having missed his reaction to the elephants and other animals he tripped out on. I love the zoo so much, and I actually teared up thinking about missing it. </p> <p>It's totally not a big deal- it's only the small local zoo, but I'm so sad about it! Have missing any 'firsts' made you sad? </p>
