I woke her up. I figured she'd wake up as soon as I got in the shower so I woke her up to snuggle.

I feel this way when LO sleeps in in the morning. He's usually my shadow while I get ready for work but when he sleeps in we don't get that time together since I just get him changed and bring him right to daycare whenever he is up. I only get an hour with him in the evenigns after work. Not very much time. At all.

I understand. LO sleeps until just before or after I've already left for work, so some mornings I see her and some I don't. It makes me sad to start the day without seeing her. DH works from home so the longer she sleeps, the less time she has to spend at day care. So, I root for her to sleep but am secretly happy when she wakes in time for me to see her. But then I'm bummed that she has to go to day care sooner. Sigh.

I can't say I feel the same. DD is 7 weeks and has starting sleeping 7hours from whenever she is put down. Last night that was 9pm to 4am and the night before was 12am to 7am. I don't care much for middle of the night wakings so even though I lose that little bit of time with her I don't wish her to go back to waking more at night.
Tiny ones learning good sleep habits now is wonderful,

The last two mornings, LO has slept until 8 a.m. She's been down around 9, wakes for 1 feeding, and sleeps well. I know that I should be really excited about this, but part of me is sad because I'm losing an hour of my time with her. I take her to day care right around 10, and DH picks her up in the afternoon. I've been getting home around 7 and only get a few hours with her at night, plus on Wednesdays I come home after she's already in bed.

It's okay if you want to tell me that I'm being silly.
